Delhi Public School, Bathinda participated and won the overall trophy (1st Position) at the Coveted Sardar Harpal Singh Inter-School Debate competition, organized by General Gurnam Singh Public School, Sangrur for classes IX to XII on 19 October 2022. . DPS Bathinda team comprised of 4 students Mridula Chaturvedi, Arni Bandhopadhyay, Enakshi Rakshit, and Avneet Kaur Brar.
Also, Mridula Chaturvedi of class 10 got the overall debater trophy “The Best Speaker award”.
Mr. J.K.Saini, Principal DPS Bathinda had the honour to be the Chief Guest and the privilege to present the Trophy to the winning team.
The second position in the debate was won by the host school GGS Public School, Sangrur followed by Vansant Valley school, Sangrur, and Yadavindra Public School, Patiala, which got the third and the fourth position. A total of eight prestigious schools of Punjab participated in the debate.
